Al Schaben –– – A Snowy Egret takes flight as snow–capped San Gabriel mountains highlight the skyline at Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve Wednesday. The State Lands Commission quickly and unanimously approved a 100–million dollar plan to restore the Bolsa Chica wetlands, on the same day that a judge lets a lawsuit go forward on development proposed for the bluffs above the wetlands.
